PTP & PTMP Wireless Links

Point-To-Point & Point-To-Multi-Point Wireless Links

Point-To-Point & Point-To-Multi-Point Wireless Connectivity Links provide the ability to connect critical networking infrastructure between one or multiple locations, via specialized wireless antenna systems.

PTP & PTMP Wireless Link Systems can function in two different configurations. The first configuration as a simple bridge system (Point-To-Point), consisting of two antennas in total (One wireless antenna link per location). This PTP configuration simulates a virtual Ethernet network cable connection between the two antennas located at each site.

The second type of Wireless Linking System can be implemented and installed in a multi-location scenario (Point-To-Multi-Point). Consisting of one central broadcasting antenna and multiple client antennas, providing coverage and communicating between multiple other locations. Each of the individual locations has its own dedicated antenna, which simultaneously communicates TX & RX Wireless Signals back to the broadcasting antenna, by simulating multiple individual unique Ethernet networking cables via the entire Point-To-Multi-Point antenna system architecture.

Point-To-Point & Point-To-Multi-Point wireless communication process is achieved via specialized Line-Of-Sight (LOS) wireless networking equipment. This unique wireless transmission equipment functions in a similar manor to traditional WiFi Connectivity systems, but with an exceptionally enhanced range of distance and coverage area.

Recent wireless technology advancements for this sophisticated wireless communication protocol can now also be accomplished with Non-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS) wireless equipment in most use cases and environmental types. This industry leading wireless communication process achieves essentially the same results as a traditional Wireless LOS system, even with obstacles and obstructions within the Wireless RF Spectrum path.

There are multiple benefits to utilizing Point-To-Point & Point-To-Multi-Point wireless networking approaches. The main reason consisting of the fact that these wireless communication systems eliminate the need for having to physically connect each of the individual locations with a dedicated hardwired structured cabling infrastructure, Fibre optic cabling or multiple internet connections at the individual site locations communicating via a VPN connection.

Specifically designed wireless PTP & PTMP antenna connectivity systems function by essentially simulating a wireless virtual Ethernet networking cable between each of the end points (each antenna location). Regardless of the data packet transmission moving to a wireless based protocol from a hardwired cabling infrastructure, these PTP & PTMP Systems provide exceptionally fast internet connection speeds, upload/download bandwidth throughput & incredibly low latency between each of the wireless links.

Point-To-Point & Point-To-Muti-Point Wireless Links can range from short distances of a few hundred meters, to many kilometers (25-40+ Kilometers) between the broadcast and receiving antennas. This incredible communications transmission range and system functionality completely eliminates the need for a physical hardwired structured cable or Fibre optic connection between each of the desired service locations.

Another benefit to this wireless networking protocol, is the fact that it also significantly reduces the complexity of multi-site network engineering and networking system design challenges. Most importantly, these wireless communication systems dramatically reduces the high costs incurred when engineering a networking infrastructure layout consisting of underground cable trenching, directional underground conduit drilling, aerial pole drops, etc.
